It’s not just about us. We are committed to helping others and building community
Lighthaven Capital, is a minority owned company, and has made it a goal to make the Firm more representative of American society by the end of 2021, with a focus on under-represented groups, including people of color and women.
We are aware of our privileged position and we are committed to finding ways to share our good fortune. For 2020, we are donating 25% of all 2020 Performance Fees to organizations fighting COVID-19, including the World Health Organization and the Foundation for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. We are always looking for meaningful causes to support, and hope that our investors share this same sense of generosity of spirit.
Lighthaven considers itself a teaching institution, and we are passionate about developing the next generation of investors and finance professionals. Our longstanding academic internship program allows some of the brightest students from across the Country the opportunity to learn directly from our senior professionals, for actual academic credit. Our senior professionals are likewise committed to the education and professional development of our interns and junior staff members.
Lighthaven has been a fully virtual firm since 2016. This means that we do not maintain any offices; our team need not commute; and we use technology to reduce our use of paper. As a result, our carbon footprint is extremely low, and our resource demand is small.
